Cable car to Take-off

The cable car up to take-off has two prices.
Till 09:00 and after 15:30 it is 11 euros one way up - discounted price for paragliding pilots
From 10:00 till 15:30 it is 19 euros - no discount.
Tickets should be bought online only. This has been requested by the Malcesine tourist board, as they aren't thrilled that paragliding pilots take up so much space in the cable car with our gear, and they've asked us not to do the same at the ticket office. Buying online is easy and should be done at least 5 minutes before the window to go up.

Landing Zone to Cable Car

There is a taxi service from landing zone to Cable Car. It costs 3 euros per pilot per ride.
The taxi drivers like to have 4 pilots minimum.
Meeting point for the taxis is at the near the Paragliding Bar.
Between runs, you organize your own taxi back up to the Cable Car. There's no flagging one down: either call ahead yourself (see Contacts below), or head to the taxi meeting point and check if other pilots are already there. Ask if anyone has already called. If not, call yourself.
If there's a queue at the base station, it's worth asking the driver to take you straight up to the middle station by road instead. It's not guaranteed, since it depends on the driver and how busy the road is, but it often skips the wait entirely and costs nothing to ask.
